I it’s been said “life is not meant

I am Bharat Dabodia, completed my 10th standard in the year 2009 followed by my 12th standard in the year 2011 and then I went to pursue my dream which was Civil engineering and in the year 2015 I completed my graduation. This all started when I was a child and my paternal uncle who is in construction business took me to the site where excavation below the ground level of a G+6 building was taking place and I was really intrigued by the formation of structure and the work process, soon I started taking interest in the creation of such structures and that paved my path for becoming a civil engineer. My parents were always there for my support whenever I required and motivated me for my future endeavors, they always stood by my side to encourage me to take the right decisions in my life and because of their efforts I could follow my ambitions and construction project management program is the next step in achieving my goals. To be honest my goal in my life is to reach the point when I am fully satisfied with my work by becoming a successful engineer in construction business and this is the right choice that I am making because it will completely change my future as it is a turning event of my journey because life is all about taking right decision at the right time if you really want to achieve your goals. I want to gain the required knowledge in my field which will help to reach my goals.During my graduation I learned the fundamental aspects of civil engineering that helped me to gain greater depths of structures through subjects namely building construction, strength of material, construction and project management and this shaped me in a way that I could reach the position that I always desired. All because of this knowledge that I attained I was able to perceive   things in a practical manner and it assisted me in my industrial training and summer internship which was a study of Highway construction and pile foundation with National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) as well as working for Rajasthan Council of elementary Education (RCEE) as Civil Consultant. It was a fine experience in terms of learning and it’s been said “life is not meant to be lived in your comfort zone” and that’s why I want to take this opportunity to transform my life.To evolve in this competitive construction field and to progress further in my career I have to gain more knowledge and brush up my skills. That’s why a Post Graduate Program in Construction Project Management will not only keep me informed about the technological advances, but also give me an overall understanding of quintessence in the industry.  This program focuses on the knowledge and skills required to advance to a management position, practices of modern construction in residential, industrial, commercial and institutional projects. It includes subjects like Construction Health & Safety, Construction fundamentals, Law & Contracts, Environment, Project Cost etc while studying these subjects alongside practical knowledge will lead me to dynamic skills and ready to tackle all issues, phases and aspects of the construction site. At the end of the program I will be dirty handed only in construction business and to achieve my goals then I desire to work with companies like Engineers India, Larsen & Toubro, Reliance Infrastructure, NCC, Laing O’Rourke, Bechtel, Essar Projects etc.     Talking about extracurricular activities I am also inclined towards sports and music. I was also part of my college’s basket ball team. I have keen interest in playing squash and table-tennis because I believe that if you have a healthy body breeds a healthy mind and vice versa.  The prominent reasons that I prefer institutions of New Zealand over Indian Institutions  are high standard of education in international terms, good research facilities available with state of the art equipment. Kiwi academics and graduates are keenly recruited into institutions overseas which indicate a great measure of quality education. New Zealand is more affordable than most of other destinations and has excellent living condition and a tolerant multicultural society. New Zealand’s higher Education institutions rank among the world’s best and the quality of education they offer is correspondingly high. I have also come to learn that Unitech Institute of technology is one of the largest, most diversified and highly respected college in Auckland,New Zealand.  They quickly incorporate latest innovations in science and technology, modern trends in marketing in their diploma/degree programs. Learning from a leading college like Unitech is just the right step for me to be able to make important change in the industry. I look forward to a long and fruitful association with Unitech Institute of technology.
