Nia and Iraq. The United States also prioritizes

Nia Tagle Mr. HammackSpanish 112/19/17FarsiI am going to share information about the middle eastern language Farsi, different countries that speak Farsi, how Farsi is connected to trade, how Farsi is used in Iran, how it is connected to government and how Farsi is similar to many different languages all branched from Arabic. Farsi and Dari are very similar languages. Farsi and Dari are both spoken in the southern, and central parts of Asia, that all are used in Iran. The difference between the two languages is the accent. The languages themselves are almost exactly identical. While both use the Arabic alphabet the language is completely different from the Arabic language. Dari is one of the two official languages in Afghanistan, it is spoken in the northern and western parts of Afghanistan, whilst being the main form of communication in the central city Kabul. Dari is most often called Farsi in Afghanistan; Farsi is mainly used in Iran and it is mainly called the Persian language in the US. There are many different countries that speak Farsi, but with every different country, there is a historically unique background. Bahrain, Iraq, Oman, Yemen, Emirates, Iran, and Afghanistan are some of the most common countries to speak Farsi. The Farsi language spread throughout Bahrain during the 7th and 8th centuries. In Iraq, Farsi was considered an ancient language in 6th century B.C.. in Oman the old estimate of the Holy Bible, and many other very important resources were written in far in the earlier days so that it would force that culture to learn and use the Persian language and never abandon it. In Yemen, the Persian language is mostly used because of their involvement in the nonaligned movement. United Arab has been speaking the Farsi language since 1960, but the language has been around since 400 B.C.The Persian language was the first language of the Muslims and one of the first primary languages in middle eastern Iran. In Afghanistan Farsi is known as Dari, the two languages are the same, apart from the accent.  Farsi is a huge part of cross-country trading. Farsi is mostly used during trade between Iran and Iraq. The United States also prioritizes Farsi for reasons related to the event that occurred on  9/11/01. “Persian has been listed as a critical language by the American State Department since 9/11/2001 because of our strategic business and security interests in the Middle East.” In the Middle Eastern countries, there are many different languages that are very similar to many different languages, it isn’t very difficult to understand some languages.  the same and are not difficult to understand if native to the area. Farsi is spoken by over 2 million people in Pakistan, which isn’t as near as  In Afghanistan, 50% of the population speaks Farsi as their first and original language, and in Iran, 60% of the population speaks Farsi as their first language. Most of the staggering 65 million people who speak Farsi are from Iran. The language is very similar to Hindu and Urdu, which are also spoken in Iran, and originated in Iran from the Arabic language. Farsi is the dominant language used for writing in literature, journalism, and science. Most of the population speaks a dialect of the Persian language, but Farsi is one of the core dialects.      The Farsi language has a massive effect on the process towards the trading industry between different countries, for example the Farsi language is used between Iran and Iraq regularly. It is also used widely between the United States to cooperate with some of the middle eastern countries. Iran imports grain, oil and metals from Kazakhstan, and they are partners in construction of pipelines, and joint oil. Together they manufactured transport, and in 2013 trade between the two countries came out to 620 million dollars. Iran is one of Kazakhstan’s most important trade partners. Religion mostly ties Iraq and Iran together and the language used is Persian/Farsi so trade isn’t the only thing that Farsi is significantly a part of. Because of the countries similar religious belief system a shared language is very very important. In a global marketplace language plays like a license. Iran and Taiwan also trade within each other. In 2005 the trade between Iran and Taiwan was about 2,8 billion dollars, and in 2005 it raised to 5.6 billion dollars all because Taiwan and Iran did not run into a language barrier. Even though in 2013 trade dramatically slowed down and resulted in 1,8 billion dollars, and in 2014 1.4 billion dollars was the total, they were still able to communicate and trade and help each other to one goal and that was to do what was best for both countries. This lack of a language barrier is so important that it connects billions of people in billions of different and unique ways, and most people don’t even notice how efficient and lucky they are to have those connections and resources. Iran imports chemicals plastics and fruits mostly form Taiwan, but because of the connection of voice there is always room for negotiation and growth. Also the Iran project has connected Iran and China, and now the trade  between the two countries is outstandingly productive, from January to August 2016 amounted to 19.5 billion dollars, and increased by 24 percent in the next year, which topped 24 billion dollars. Just last year their trade topped 31 billion dollars. Iran exports 600,000 barrels of crude oil to China every single day.    Farsi is spoken widely around the world, so there are many different countries and cultures that are connected through the use of Farsi. Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Pakistan all speak similar variations of Persian, yet they all have their own unique and fascinating cultures, for example, iran’s culture is like Iranian is to Persian as British is to English – the English are definitely the dominant ethnic group in Britain, but equally definitely not the only one. Just as a Scot will be up in arms being called an Englishman, a Baluch will protest the label Persian. In Afghanistan family is the first and foremost priority, but it is mostly a tribal country society, and different regions have their own version of how to live and what is acceptable, but for the most part they all celebrate the same food, have the same holidays, are multilingual to an extent, and listen to the same music. However, Tajikistan has two different areas of cultures which are highland and metropolitan. Most people in Tajikistan worship Zoroaster, they believe that he is a supernatural miracle working god, they are very humble and respectful and focus on hospitality to enforce a successful future. They also believe in specific gender roles. In Tajikistan, all men are more powerful than women and gain more respect in general. No women are allowed to be in any position of authority, and women are needed to take care of the children and encourage men to make moral decisions. Now Pakistan is a little different, its society is very cooperative, and most of their holidays are set for religious purposes. They love sports and games and is very rich in literature. Pakistan is very similar to Tajikistan’s beliefs about gender roles, pakistanians believe that males should have all authority. They are Islamic as a country and believe that there is one Allah, the prophethood of Mahallah, and they live life according to this acronym P.B.U.H. which means brotherhood, equality, and social justice.    The Farsi language has been around since before 400 B.C. and is younger than the Arabic language. The first inscriptions were made in 550 B.C. through 331 B.C. “Farsi is a subgroup of West Iranian languages that include Dari and Tajik; the less closely related languages of Luri, Bakhtiari, and Kumzari; and the non-Persian dialects of Fars Province.West and East Iranian comprise the Iranian group of the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European family of languages. Indo-Iranian languages are spoken in a wide area stretching from portions of eastern Turkey and eastern Iraq to western India. The other main division of Indo-Iranian, in addition to Iranian, is the Indo-Aryan languages, a group comprised of many languages of the Indian subcontinent, for example, Sanskrit, Hindi/Urdu, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, and Sindhi.”     (Todaytranslations.com)Persian/Farsi is the most widely spoken version of Arabic. Farsi in Iran is written with Arabic symbols, and the Persian people started using it after the seventeenth century because of the Islamic conquest. It was borrowed from the Mayans (which was ran at the time). Many countries speak fast now, Including large communities in the United States of America, Bahrain, Iraq, Oman, Yemen, and the United Arab Emirates.    Farsi is a widely spoken version of the Persian language and is mostly used in the middle eastern parts of the world. Farsi is the most used version of person or Arabic and is used in over ten different countries, spoken by 75 million people all over the world. It encourages trade across countries and is used in millions of different cultures. Even though Farsi might be decreasing in use, the language alone has shaped lives and have connected people all over the entire world.    In this paper, I shared information about countries with Farsi speakers, how Farsi is used for trade, statistics on Farsi, how the Farsi language affects the government, different cultures that speak Farsi and the evolution of the Farsi language.
